Elections in Pakistan ... The year is 2013

Elections in Pakistan is one of the few big entertaining, boring and hostile activity. Participating parities love to splash dirt on each other throughout their political campaigns before and after elections and they also don't miss a chance to do self praising for things which even their Angels don't know anything about. Media in Pakistan although very much FREE after the sad but controversial incident of 9/11, but not completely bias free, everybody has to live and work so, all the rest has to watch what he/she saying or doing, cause the next victim might be you, death is cheap with all the dirty politics, criminal gangs, unchecked law enforcement institutions and never ending disputes which are almost impossible to resolve because of corruption and hiding the truth so, diplomacy and hypocrisy is very important and it is wise not to mention anybody openly. Free Media now quite openly talk about political parties who were once resembles to that of Mafias. But still, voters are being forced by political parties to vote for them through different coercive means which off course alter the real outcome. Here the actual situation is more like, Party A will come this time than Party B will come to the next time and the military take over occurs IF anybody tries to mess with the Army. In case of political government, the rest of the parties usually joins hands together to pull the legs of governing party OR to suck the blood out of Pakistanies if they successful in political bargaining. In case of military takeover, almost all parties will keep praising the dictator for indefinite years of dictatorship. In case of political government, the government in Pakistan feels like a Family Run business where almost everyone belongs to the governing party is not left behind to enjoy looting the country without any check. In case of military dictatorship, the dictator just loves the indefinite control over everything and soon after refuse to give up his powers and decides himself that he is the only suitable person for the betterment of Pakistan. In both of the situations, public is hard pressed to think anything but how to earn to live a life. So far nobody is turned out to be a good leader for Pakistan, everybody is corrupt, politicians, religious parties and military. For such people there is a very famous saying that everyone is naked in the public bathe. Unfortunately it is a bitter but sad truth.

This time, same old corrupt people and corrupt parties are once again fighting to Rule over Pakistan, the only difference is or was Imran Khan who is new into Pakistani political scenario. He is a nice and truly educated and forward looking person where as the rest are same old people who are bringing up their grownup ignorant and arrogant kids who have the same old mentality of feudal lords in the 21st century. Many of these grownup kids are graduates or foreign educated but unfortunately their education is not going to bring any positive change with their feudal lords thinking and approach. So, we can't say for sure what good going to happen.

Just recently, Imran Khan falls down from a tiny lifter when he was about to step up to his political stage. He was hospitalized immediately after the incident and thankfully he is alive and getting well but it will take some time to fully recover and in the meantime, he can not participate in the campaigns so, once again, Pakistanies are left to choose from the same old corrupt people with new faces. Whatever happens to him, it could be a deliberate attempt to stop him on his tracks or it could be an incident. Pakistani politics is full of such surprises where some prominent leaders loose their lives Incidentally. On the tiny lifter which was meant to support only one or two person at the most, four to five fully grownup men were standing including Imran Khan without any boundary support so when the push was applied from one side, everybody lost their balance and fell off from 15 feet. The men who were surrounding Imran Khan were either security guards or policemen but either way super intelligent and brainless who put his life on great risk.

Pakistan due to vast political and economic importance, is like a Golden Sparrow Or like a Rich Orphan child who don't know whats his actual worth is and who everybody wants to keep under their control. This means a lot of troubles for the people of Pakistan internally and externally. The parties and even the military dictators, lack future vision and effective and sustainable planning for a economically, politically and socially strong Pakistan. Everybody once in power, gets busy in looting, making everybody fool including the great powers who wants friendly and positive image within the people of Pakistan. Such powers don't realize that by supporting governments or actions who not in favor of public, great powers damage their own image. Well, everybody has their own agenda so, positive image or not, peace or war, they going to keep doing what they think is best for their interest.

Imran Khan being hospitalized and the rest are same old corrupt people, more or less sinister. People are left to once again choose from the old, tested and useless. Zardari and company has little chance to win this time because of record breaking corruption which bring forth a lot of sufferings during the last five years of Zardari government. Mian Nawaz and company has more chances of winning since the Imran Khan who is a new player and already out of the scene. The future looks no different than what we have already witnessed. Might be a little positive style of government due to the fact that continuity of the corruption will ultimately back fire.

This time around, Political parties are running their political campaigns not only through traditional style of using loudspeakers, banners, rallies and news papers, but they also utilizing new media including TV commercials, cellphone messaging, twitter, facebook, emails and maintaining official websites. Smaller groups are short of maintaining official websites or other means of publicity but the main parties are making sure to outreach and spread their message to all sectors for maximum success rate.

Today is 11th May 2013, the polling day. My rough guess is that no second chance for the corrupt government of Zardari. If he or his party came back again, they not going to leave a single penny in the national treasury and will discover new means to suck blood out of people. Nawaz Shareef and company, both times, were not able to complete his tenure, first time his government was overthrown by PPP's president and second time by a military dictator. Imran Khan into hospital so, looks like either someone from Nawaz and company will succeed to run for the Presidentship or the Prime Mistership OR another faint possibility is maula Fazal Rahman. Maula is very active in politics since the days of MMA and knows very well how to make good use of his religious influence for his political interests.

Elections are over with many complaints of bogus voting through out the country which off course as usual will go unnoticed or no serious action will ever takes place. Nobody wants to seriously mess with anyone interested in violent activities. Those into violence don't hesitate to work against country and its people. This time, Nawaz and company again win with clear majority. Hopefully his party will be able to complete five years without any stupidity from the greedy and corrupt political or religious parties or from the military itself in the name of so-called national interest, which basically means the interests of parties or the military. Pervaiz Musharraf is extremely worried about his future as he is the sole responsible of over throwing Nawaz government back in 1999. We can not put much hope into Nawaz government as like all previous governments including the most powerful military dictators, all tell same lie to the nation that the country is in great danger and debts incur by the previous governments and we (they) can not do anything but to get more loans from blood sucking IMF or the World Bank. Like all the other poor nations, these loans are not for the betterment of people but for the betterment of those enjoying Halal and Haram of a luxurious government.

Let's see what happens in the coming days. Winners are busy into making and breaking. Losers are complaining about bogus voting which is a fact but can not be done much about it. Those responsible, themselves busy into other important issues so hopefully the overall situation will turn out to be a little better for the common than it was in Zardari's government.
