Removing Spray Paint Color from Car's Windows and Windshield

Just a few days ago, while at work place, got some spray paint color smoke (very light spray paint color) on my car's windows, windshield and all over the body. This sux real bad. Lost all the shine and it just feels unpleasant when touching and spreading hand to feel the roughness of the spray paint over the body. One of the peon who clean dust almost daily, informed me about that spray paint and at first thought it is just something done by the neighborhood kids who literally doesn't care a shit about safety of other cars not theirs. Small dents, scratches, is a common thing if the car is parked in some place where lots of kids gather up to play.
Well, checked the car windows and body myself after him telling me there are tiny spots all over the car and it just don't go. The feel from the spray paint was sort of rough, like a dirt or rough surface with no smoothness in it. Thought about it and got the feeling that possible or not but the tiny spots looks like ...... some sort of fking color... but how on earth it gets on my car.. and I recalled that my car was parked about 15 ~ 20 feet away from the parking shed, the textile company where I'm currently working is constructing for the comfort of the factory owners.
Searched over Google and YouTube, talked to my friends and local hardware store wala to get some idea what the hell do i do to get rid of that damn thing off my car. Some said, use color thinner, spirit. The danger in using color thinner or spirit was that it may or may not work, 2ndly, it will definitely damage the clear coat plus the color of the metal body if somehow drops of thinner drips on the body.
Some were suggesting to use steel wool, buffer machine, and shaving or razor sharp blades to scrub, buff the tiny particles of spray paint off the car windows. Some were using clay bars and wax and buffer machines. As I don't have a buffer machine and all the fancy stuff, and have almost zero knowledge about car detailing or getting rid of spray paint type of situation so I decided to go with the most convenient method which is to scrub the car's windows with blades.
For that purpose, first I cleaned the windows with soapy water, washed it clean and dry. Then while holding a Gillette razor blades, the old style types, I slowly slowly started to scrub the car's glasses at a 45 degree angle. It took few hours to carefully scrub the spray paint off the car's windows and windshield, but the process worked fine and the glasses are smooth as ever before. I'm going to try out the clay bar thing as well later someday.
